As usual - I have not kept up to date - far too busy I suppose. We have made a series of football coaching films for Winning Scotland Foundation on behalf of the Scottish government and friends such as SFA, SFL, SPL and SportScotland - see the first one here - the others are in their playlist on our YouTube channel at Winning Scotland Foundation playlist. The first 4 are specifically for coaches - and the others for parents. Some have a twist of humour - but a very serious message - so please do watch, like and share! We worked with a fab bunch of guys who went the extra mile for us.

We love working with the Red camera and have just bought some new filters for it. Our DP, Stewart Menelaws is making some beautiful pictures - but meanwhile, you can watch our latest showreel here too.

I haven't been travelling around so much this year. The Daniel Project film has now also been sold to Netflix and Amazon so it is time to get on with our next big job - which is a big screen - and I mean BIG - movie this time. Thrill and spills - and very, very scary!

NO - we haven't gone into the horror genre - but this one is based on a true story which is very chilling...

Need to run now. Catch you later!

The Daniel Project gets it right again...

I'm off to the TV Festival at the end of this month then LA and Pittsburgh next month and Cannes in October as international interest increases about our latest film The Daniel Project...

And no wonder! The Daniel Project gets it right again and again with global events confirming what was said in the prophecies. Remember, this is no obscure Nostradamus or Mayan calendar or false prophet predicting the end of the world. This is a thoroughloy researched piece of jornalism that can do nothing but make you stand in awe that Somebody knows the end from the beginning and has actually bothered to warn us before it happens...follow the updates on The Daniel Project twitter site at https://twitter.com/#!/TheDanProject

Are YOU one of The Wise?

Okay, okay! Yet again I've broken my new year resolution - and haven't taken the time to keep my blog up to date! Our latest film 'The Daniel Project' is about to be released - our distributor is signing a deal in the US just now - and the special edition pre-release DVD set has gone on sale - and we're sending hundreds out around the world...

The sad part of this new year is my darling mother passed away most unexpectedly...and I still haven't got my head around that - I suppose I'm working through it and it will hit me one day.

I'll be back shortly with more news re The Daniel Project - and I hope you enjoy the teaser and trailer...You can link to our facebook, Twitter and YouTube sites from the main website at www.thedanielproject.tv ...But the big question on everyone's lips these days is "are YOU one of The Wise?"

Update 2010

I can't believe that I haven't updated for so long...I'm excited that Studio Scotland is launching a gorgeous new website soon. As one of the leading multimedia companies in the country, it's always fun to see what our design gurus come up with next.

Earlier in the year, after getting caught in the ash cloud fiasco whilst in Cannes on biz, I had to stay a 2nd week whilst deciding whether or not to try to get to Toronto the following week... (yes, it REALLY was awful!). It was all worth it in the end as we had a great Mip in Cannes and HotDocs in Toronto. A lot of excitement being generated around our latest film 'The Daniel Project' - more info coming soon..

On the commercial side, I am doing more and more social media training with clients - great fun!

The blog begins...

I'm now putting my blog online for the rest of the world to read instead of just using Deborah' Diary on our website at Studio Scotland - which is actually just my agenda for the coming year.

I've never felt quite right at the thought of blogging because it implies that I expect the world to be interested in what I have to say - and I'm just not that important - however, surprisingly enough, it appears that Deborah's Diary seems to get quite a few hits on our website. So, in the interest of self discipline - ie what it takes to write regularly - here goes.

My slideshow on the right shows the the team and I at work doing what we do - making high quality films for our commissioners!

I have also indulged in showing my fabby new car in the Video Bar below - a Citroen C3 Pluriel which is a little convertible, hatchback, spider and nippy wee runabout all wrapped up in one package. This is one of my nods to being environmentally aware as I move down(?) from my gorgeous Freelander - but what I like about the Pluriel is that it's still fairly high off the ground giving all round visibility as I'm not renowned for my height! You can watch it in action by clicking one of the film boxes...

...I'm also a collector of quality handbags indulging in Chanel, Hermes, Mulberry and LV. As Dorcas from Lark Rise to Candleford would say, "bags are my one little weakness"! I don't spend money on myself for anything else so am able to justify it. I love the feel and smell of a well made handbag - or shoe - or any beautiful work of art I suppose. Unfortunately, my darling husband doesn't seem to get it but he's a sweetie and let's me get on with it.

I've popped in a little bit about my favourite films and books - will add to it when I have time, however it would be really good if you'd do the poll at the foot of the page. It's completely anonymous but honesty would be appreciated!

So that's some of the boring shallow stuff about me...watch this space - and read Deborah's Diary on the Studio Scotland website to find out what I'm really up to.

If you'd like to be a 'Follower' or post your comments, I'd love to hear from you. Just keep it polite please!
